Ingredients
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | tahini (sesame butter) |
| 4 dashes | hot pepper sauce | |
| 1.5 tsp | 7.5 ml | sea salt |
| 1 tsp | 5 ml | baking soda |
| 0.25 cup | 60 ml | olive oil |
| 1 tsp | 5 ml | cayenne pepper |
| 2 | garlic cloves | |
| 1.5 cups | 360 ml | dry chickpeas, rinsed |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | fresh lemon juice |

- Add the dry chickpeas to the inner pot; pour in 6 cups of water. Add the sea salt and baking soda.
- Secure the lid. Choose the "Manual" mode and cook for 35 minutes at High pressure. Once cooking is complete, use a natural pressure release for 20 minutes; carefully remove the lid. Reserve the cooking liquid.
- Transfer the warm, drained chickpeas to your food processor; add the remaining ingredients. While the food processor is running, pour in the cooking liquid to achieve the desired consistency.
- To serve, drizzle olive oil on top of the hummus if desired. Bon appetit!
