⏱️ Prep: 15 min🍳 Cook: 20 min
Ingredients
| 4 | large peaches | |
| 12 oz | 340 g | bacon |
| 60 | large basil leaves | |
| — | extra-virgin olive oil | |
| — | balsamic glaze |
Instructions
- Set a grill to low heat and preheat for about 10 minutes, then brush the grates with a paper towel dabbed in oil (grapeseed oil works well).
- Wash and dry the peaches. Cut each peach in half, then cut each half into 4 quarters. Place one large basil leaf on each side of a peach piece. Cut the bacon slices in half. Wrap each peach slice and its basil leaves with a half slice of bacon and pin the loose end with a toothpick. Repeat with the remaining peaches.
- Brush the bacon-wrapped peaches lightly with olive oil so the bacon doesn't stick. Grill, turning so all sides cook evenly, until the bacon is cooked, about 20 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving platter and remove the toothpicks. Drizzle with store-bought or homemade balsamic glaze.
- Serve hot or at room temperature.
