
Cigars with goat's cheese and herbs
Baked goat's cheese cigars by Rachel Khoo, served on a salad with cucumber, radishes and melon.
Ingredients
| 1 | pack of ready pastry sheets |
| 125 гр | soft goat's cheese (one log) |
| — | fresh thyme |
| — | butter |
| — | honey |
| — | Galia melon |
| 1 | small cucumber, grated lengthwise |
| — | red wine vinegar |
| — | olive oil |
| — | radishes |
| — | salt and black pepper |
Instructions
- Lay out a sheet of pastry, cut it into 4, brush it with melted butter, at one end place sprigs of fresh thyme lengthwise, fold over about 2 cm (to cover them) and brush again with butter to seal.
- At the opposite end crumble goat's cheese, sprinkle it with a little melted honey and roll into a cigar starting from the cheese towards the herbs, which stay on top sticking out of the pastry.
- Brush also on top with butter and bake 15-20 min until golden.
Salad with cucumber, radishes and melon
Galia melon 1 small cucumber grated lengthwise Add a little red wine vinegar and a little olive oil Melon grated and radishes cut into thin coins. Salt and black pepper.
Place the cigars on top.
