
Banana Mochi Rolls
A nostalgic Hong Kong-style banana mochi (懷舊港式香蕉糕), an easy steamed glutinous rice treat.

Ingredients
| 80 g | rice flour |
| 150 g | glutinous rice flour |
| 100 g | sugar |
| 350 ml | water |
| 10 ml | banana flavouring |
| 30 g | cooked glutinous rice flour (for coating) |
Instructions
- For coating: Add 30 g glutinous rice flour in a pan (do not add oil), cook it under low heat for a few minutes. Keep stirring and set aside.
- Mix 150 g glutinous rice flour, rice flour and sugar together. Add in water and mix well until smooth. Add in banana flavouring, mix well.
- Lightly brush the plate with oil, then pour the batter into a plate. Steam under high heat for 20 minutes.
- Sprinkle some cooked glutinous rice flour on a table, place the dough on top and coat with more glutinous rice flour. Place a parchment paper on top and roll it.
- Then roll it into a long roll and cut into small pieces.
