
Beef Rolls with Potatoes (Steak Frites Bites)
Grilled marinated flank steak strips rolled around crispy fried potatoes and secured with toothpicks.

Ingredients
| 500 g | beef flank steak, cut into strips about half a cm thick | |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | olive oil |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | fresh rosemary |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | Dijon mustard |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| — | salt | |
| — | freshly ground black pepper | |
| 500 g | fried potatoes | |
| — | steak sauce, for serving |
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C. Slice the steak thinly across the grain on the diagonal, about 5 cm long.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, rosemary, mustard and Worcestershire. Coat the meat and let it marinate for between 15 minutes and 2 hours. When it is ready to grill, lightly season with salt and pepper.
- Meanwhile, fry the potatoes and let them cool slightly.
- Heat the grill to medium temperature. Grease the grill pan. Place a few potatoes on a piece of meat, roll into a roll and secure with a toothpick.
- Grill the meat for about 2 minutes per side for medium-rare.
- Sprinkle with steak sauce before serving.
