Beef in Bacon with Grilled Pears
A cook's notes: I marinated the beef for .. I don't remember how long because I went to the market :D in Worcestershire sauce, wine and honey with a little fresh thyme and garden sage from the balcony. :D Then onto the grill pan for 4-5 min and then into the oven with the rest of the marinade again for about the same time. But honestly, without the pears and their sauce it is not that divine — it becomes rather ordinary meat. The pears go with a sauce of 3 tbsp honey, a little sugar and 30 ml fruit liqueur on the stove until it boils; the pears themselves I seared on the grill pan until soft. But the whole point, as I said, is the sauce — it goes very well with the bacon and the beef.
