
Best Steak Marinade
A balanced balsamic, Worcestershire and soy marinade with Dijon and honey that tenderises and deeply flavours steaks before grilling.

Ingredients
| 1/4 cup | 60 ml | balsamic vinegar |
| 1/4 cup | 60 ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1/4 cup | 60 ml | soy sauce |
| 1/4 cup | 60 ml | olive oil |
| 1 Tbsp | 15 ml | Dijon mustard |
| 2 tsp | 10 ml | honey |
| 3 | garlic cloves, minced | |
| 1 tsp | 5 ml | freshly ground black pepper |
| 1 tsp | 5 ml | dried rosemary (optional) |
| 4 | steaks (8 oz each) |
Instructions
- Whisk balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire, soy sauce, olive oil, Dijon, honey, garlic, pepper and rosemary until well blended.
- Place steaks in a gallon resealable bag, pour over the marinade, press out air and seal. Refrigerate and marinate at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
- Preheat a grill to medium-high. Remove steaks from the marinade and grill to desired doneness (USDA minimum 145°F/63°C, measured in the centre).
- Rest off heat 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes: For less acidity, reduce balsamic to 2 Tbsp. Great with New York strip, ribeye, top sirloin, flank or skirt steak.
