Instructions
- Prepare the Dough: In a small bowl, combine the warm milk and sugar. Stir in the yeast and let it sit for 5 minutes until it becomes foamy. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yeast mixture, softened butter, salt, egg, and flour. Mix until it forms a soft dough. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes until it is smooth. Grease a bowl, place the dough inside, and cover it. Let it rise for 45 minutes.
- Prepare the Filling: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish. Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape. Spread the softened butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and blueberries over the dough. Roll it into a log and cut it into 10-12 pieces. Arrange the pieces in the greased baking dish.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until they are golden brown.
- Prepare the Glaze: In a bowl, whisk together the confectioners' sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Drizzle this glaze over the rolls after they have rested for 10 minutes. Enjoy your delicious blueberry cinnamon rolls!
