Instructions
"Instead of bread — aromatic butter baguettes"
Preparation: 40 min | Cooking: 40 min | Total: 80 min | Servings: 8
Method of preparation:
Warm all the products before you start kneading.
Sift the flour, without fail, in order to get the fluffiest white butter baguettes.
Activate the yeast with a little warm milk, the sugar and a little flour. Knead a nice, medium-soft dough, brush it with oil and leave it to prove. As you like, form balls and from each shape a baguette by rolling out a thick sheet, which you cut into strips on both sides.
Braid by crossing the strips in the middle, tuck the ends inward, so that it does not open up during baking.
Leave the finished baguettes to prove, then brush them with beaten yolk and butter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees; after taking them out, brush again with butter.
