Braised Pork Chops with Garlic
Pork neck chops baked slowly with whole garlic cloves, sugar, vinegar and dry white wine until tender and browned.

Ingredients
| 800 g | pork meat, neck chops | |
| 1 head | garlic | |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | sugar |
| 60 ml | white wine vinegar | |
| 200 ml | dry white wine | |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | oil |
| — | salt | |
| — | freshly ground black pepper |
Instructions
- Pound the pork chops well and sprinkle them generously with salt and black pepper. Arrange them in a greased pan and distribute the peeled, lightly flattened (with the handle of a knife) garlic cloves around them.
- Drizzle over the oil, sprinkle the pork with the sugar and pour over the vinegar and wine. Cover the pan with aluminum foil or a lid.
- Bake the chops in an oven preheated to 170 degrees for about 90 minutes, then remove the foil.
- Finish baking until they brown, then turn them over. Let them brown lightly on the second side as well.
- Serve the braised pork chops with garlic with a slice of lemon and a garnish of your choice.
