
Bread Machine Walnut Bread
A 1 kg dark-brown whole-wheat and white flour loaf baked in the bread machine, with ground walnuts added for an appetizing nutty aroma.
Ingredients

| 140 g | whole wheat flour | |
| 400 ml | water | |
| 2 tablespoons | 30 ml | salt |
| 1 tablespoon | 15 ml | sugar |
| 2 teaspoons | 10 ml | dry yeast |
| 150 g | walnuts |
Instructions
For 16 servings you need: 550 g white flour; 140 g whole wheat flour; 400 ml water; 2 tbsp salt; 1 tbsp sugar; 2 tsp dry yeast; 150 g walnuts
Pour the two types of flour into the pan of the bread machine, then with a spoon dig a well in the middle, into which you pour the salt, the sugar and the dry yeast. Fill with room-temperature water - (400 ml). Turn on the bread machine on the whole-wheat bread setting and wait until the ingredients are well kneaded. Add the ground walnuts after about 15 minutes or when the bread machine gives a signal for adding extra ingredients, if it has one. You get 1 kg of dark-brown bread with an appetizing aroma of walnuts.
