Chocolate Cake (Bread Machine)
A chocolate cake baked entirely in the bread machine on the cake program, with optional chocolate chips added at the signal.
Ingredients
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | water |
| 3 | large eggs, lightly beaten | |
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | oil |
| 2 tsp | 10 ml | liquid vanilla extract |
| 2 cup (280g) | flour, sifted | |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | baking powder |
| 1 cup (200g) | sugar | |
| 7 tbsp | 105 ml | unsweetened cocoa, sifted |
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | chocolate chips or chocolate broken into small pieces (added after the signal) |
Instructions
1 cup = 240 ml 1 tbsp = 15 ml 1 tsp = 5 ml
Put all the ingredients into the machine's basket. Select the CAKE program (on my machine it is 2 hours). Follow the machine's instructions.
After the signal to add — 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chocolate broken into small pieces.
