Cocktail Bites with Grapes and Goat Cheese
Grapes wrapped in goat cheese, rolled in honey and crushed nuts, served on toothpicks.
Ingredients
| — | grapes (variety of choice) |
| — | honey |
| — | goat cheese - or any other kind of soft cheese |
| — | crushed nuts - walnuts, almonds, peanuts etc. |
| — | toothpicks for serving |
Instructions
Wash the grapes in a colander and pat dry. Pull off the individual grapes. Break the goat cheese into pieces roughly the size of half a grape - take the pieces and place them on the side of the grape. Knead between your palms until the cheese coats the grape evenly - you can add more pieces if there isn't enough. Repeat with the rest of the grapes and cheese. Carefully roll the finished grapes in honey (drizzle honey onto a small plate and roll 2-3 grapes at a time in it). Once they are well coated with the honey, roll the grapes in the crushed nuts. Serve the finished grape balls on toothpicks, garnished if desired with pieces of cheese and grapes.
