BackEinkorn, Quinoa and Chia Buns

Einkorn, Quinoa and Chia Buns

Fresh, warm and above all healthy buns, with or without cheese/yellow cheese, in no more than half an hour. The original recipe uses equal parts einkorn, chickpea and millet flour, but improvise with whatever healthy flours you have on hand.

Ingredients

2eggs

1-2 супени лъжициpumpkin and/or sunflower seeds
350-400 гeinkorn and quinoa flour (2:1 ratio, approx. total)
100 грcheese or yellow cheese (optional)
melted cow's butter (for dipping)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix the following: 2 eggs, 1/2 tub yogurt, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tbsp vinegar, 3-4 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp chia, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp Himalayan salt, 1-2 tbsp pumpkin and/or sunflower seeds.
  2. Add einkorn and quinoa flour in a ratio of 2:1, little by little, while stirring. (The original recipe uses einkorn, chickpea and millet in equal parts.)
  3. When the mixture thickens to a sticky dough (about 350-400 g flour in total), you may add 100 g cheese or yellow cheese if desired.
  4. Shape little balls, dip them in melted cow's butter and place them in a pre-warmed, buttered tray or on baking paper.
  5. Once you put them in the heated oven, increase the temperature to 250°C for 5 minutes and then lower it to 180°C for another 5 minutes.
