Ingredients
| 3 1/3 cups | 800 ml | wheat bread machine flour |
| 1 cup | 240 ml | ham, chopped |
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | milk powder |
| 1 1/2 Tbsp. | 23 ml | sugar |
| 1 tsp. | 5 ml | fresh yeast |
| 1 tsp. | 5 ml | kosher salt |
| 2 Tbsp. | 30 ml | parmesan cheese, grated |
| 1 1/3 cups | 320 ml | lukewarm water |
| 2 Tbsp. | 30 ml | extra-virgin olive oil |
Instructions
Total time: 3 1/2 hours. Program: French Bread. Crust: Medium. Yield: 1 loaf (2 pounds) / 10 servings.
Steps to Make It:
- Cut ham into cubes of 1/2 - 1 cm (approximately 1/4 inch).
- Place all the dry and liquid ingredients in the pan and follow the instructions for your bread machine.
- Pay particular attention to measuring the ingredients. Use a measuring cup, measuring spoon, and kitchen scales to do so.
- Set the baking program to FRENCH BREAD and the crust type to MEDIUM.
- Add the additives after the beep or place them in the dispenser of the bread machine.
- If the dough is too dense or too wet, adjust the amount of flour and liquid in the recipe.
- When the program has ended, take the pan out of the bread machine and let cool for 5 minutes.
- Shake the loaf out of the pan. If necessary, use a spatula.
- Wrap the bread with a kitchen towel and set it aside for an hour. Otherwise, you can cool it on a wire rack.
