⏱️ Prep: 90 min🍳 Cook: 8 min
Ingredients
| ½ teaspoon | 2.5 ml | cayenne pepper |
| ½ teaspoon | 2.5 ml | cumin |
| ½ teaspoon | 2.5 ml | onion powder |
| ½ teaspoon | 2.5 ml | citrus lemon pepper |
| 1 teaspoon | 5 ml | garlic |
| 1 tablespoon | 15 ml | Worcestershire sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | 15 ml | fresh squeezed lemon juice |
| 4 tablespoons | 60 ml | butter, melted |
| 9 slices | bacon | |
| 18 | prawns | |
| 18 | wooden skewers, soaked at least 15 minutes |
Instructions
- Combine the melted butter and spices, add the shrimp and stir to coat. Let the shrimp marinate for 1 to 2 hours.
- Slice the bacon in half and cook over medium-high heat to render out some fat, keeping the bacon flexible. Drain and pat off the grease with a paper towel.
- Wrap each shrimp with a piece of bacon and slide onto skewers. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 15 minutes first, or use metal ones.
- Grill on a hot grill until the shrimp are opaque, using the remaining marinade to baste when turning.
