
Hawaiian Style Sweet Rolls
Soft sweet rolls whose dough is made in the bread machine, then shaped, egg-glazed and finished in the oven — a great complement to savory meat dishes, soups and stews.

Ingredients
| 1 1/3 cups | 320 ml | milk |
| 4 tbsp. | 60 ml | butter |
| 1 | large egg | |
| 1/3 cup | 80 ml | sugar |
| 1 tsp | 5 ml | salt |
| 4 cups | 960 ml | all-purpose flour |
| 2 tsps. | active dry yeast | |
| 1 | egg (for glaze) | |
| 2 tbsp. | 30 ml | milk whisked into egg (for glaze) |
Instructions
For this recipe, you make the dough in the bread machine and then form into small rolls and finish in the oven. It's a great complement to savory meat dishes, hearty soups and stews. You can also enjoy them with a pat of butter and dip them into gravy.
INGREDIENTS: 1 1/3 cups milk 4 tbsp. butter 1 large egg 1/3 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 4 cups all-purpose flour 2 tsps. active dry yeast Glaze: 1 egg 2 tbsp. milk whisked into egg
DIRECTIONS:
- Add ingredients to bread pan in order indicated and select Dough course. Remove after kneading cycle.
- Shape into roll shapes and glaze with egg and milk mixture.
- Bake at 375°F. for 15 to 20 minutes or until browned.
