| 20 g | fresh yeast | |
| 300 ml | lukewarm water | |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | olive oil |
| ½ tsp | 2.5 ml | salt |
| 1 tsp | 5 ml | sugar |
| — | flour for kneading | |
| 100 g | melted butter | |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | chopped fresh herbs of choice - wild garlic, rosemary, sage, thyme, oregano |
Instructions
- Mix the flour with the salt and the sugar. Dissolve the yeast in the water and together with the olive oil pour it into the flour. Knead a soft and elastic dough. If needed, add a little more flour. Put the dough in a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap and leave it to rise until it doubles in volume.
- Mix the butter with the herbs. Cut the dough with scissors into small bites. Dip or brush each one in a little of the butter. In the cavities of a muffin baking tin put several little bites of dough, until you fill them to the top.
- Leave the rolls to rise again. Bake them in an oven heated to 180°C for about 20-25 minutes. Enjoy!
