Japanese-Style White Fish
A European 'Japanese-style' baked white fish topped with mandarin slices and grated cheese; not an authentic Japanese dish but presented as such.

Ingredients
| 3 | white fish fillets |
| 1/2 lemon | lemon juice |
| 1 bunch | soup roots (mixed root vegetables) |
| 75 g | margarine or olive oil |
| — | salt and black pepper |
| 1/2 cup | cream |
| — | parsley |
| 1 bunch | green onion |
| 1-2 | mandarins |
| 1-2 tbsp | grated kashkaval cheese |
| 1 | lemon |
| 2 | tomatoes |
Instructions
- Sprinkle the fish fillets with lemon juice and set aside.
- Finely chop the soup roots (vegetables) and saute them in the fat.
- Rub the fish with salt and pepper and place it in a baking dish together with the roots, pour over the cream and arrange mandarin slices on top.
- Sprinkle everything with the grated kashkaval cheese.
- Bake the Japanese-style white fish in the oven for 20 minutes at 200 C.
- Serve with a garnish of the braised vegetables and decorate with lemon slices and tomatoes.
