Ingredients
| 2 lbs | 905 g | chicken wings |
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | soy sauce |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | lime juice |
| 2 tsp | 10 ml | fresh ginger, minced or grated |
| 2 cloves | garlic, minced | |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | brown sugar |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | toasted sesame seeds |
| 3 to 4 | green onions, chopped | |
| 1 pinch | black pepper |
Instructions
- Mince the ginger and garlic and dice the green onions.
- Toast the sesame seeds in a small dry pan over medium heat for a couple of minutes, keeping them moving so they brown evenly and don't burn.
- In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, lime juice, ginger, garlic, brown sugar, sesame seeds, green onions and a pinch of black pepper.
- Let the marinade sit about 15 minutes, then pour it over the wings and mix well to coat evenly. Marinate at least 1 hour (longer for more flavor).
- Arrange the wings skin-side up on a broiler pan and cook in a 350°F (175°C) oven for 30 minutes, until deep golden brown and cooked through.
