Lemon Curd Italiano Semifreddo

Introducing the masterpiece from Takumi, the lemon flavored semifreddo from Italy. Unlike Subaru's Improved Three-Layer Semifreddo, it has a fourth layer of Lemon Curd. However, with a minimal amount of butter, he substituted it with olive oil to enhance the flavor of the lemons. Combining the power of Britain and Italy, Takumi makes yet another fusion of nations!

Real Facts: Semifreddo is a class of semi-frozen desserts, typically ice-cream cakes, semi-frozen custards, and certain fruit tarts. It has the texture of frozen mousse because it is usually produced by uniting two equal parts of ice cream and whipped cream. In Italian cuisine, the semifreddo is commonly made with gelato as a primary ingredient. This one is lemon flavored.
