
Mandarin Orange Nerikiri Wagashi
Japanese wagashi confectionery: nerikiri made from white bean paste wrapped around a piece of orange and shaped to look like a mandarin, with a matcha-tinted stem and flowers. Trick candy art in the traditional Japanese style.
Ingredients

Instructions
- Roll the white bean paste into balls and flatten each one.
- Enclose a piece of orange inside and wrap it with the paste until fully covered.
- Gently prick the paste with toothpicks to give texture.
- Decorate by forming a stem from bean paste mixed with matcha.
- In the same way form small flowers to finish.
