Ingredients
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | heavy cream |
| 1 1/4 cups | 300 ml | whole milk |
| 1/3 cup | 80 ml | powdered erythritol (or any preferred sugar substitute) |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5 ml | peppermint extract |
| 2-3 drops | green food coloring (optional) | |
| 1/4 cup | 60 ml | mini chocolate chips |
Instructions
- Prepare the Base: In a blender, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, powdered erythritol, peppermint extract, and green food coloring. Blend until smooth and well combined.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint jar, ensuring it does not exceed the max fill line. Secure the lid and freeze for at least 24 hours.
- Churn the Ice Cream: After freezing, remove the lid and insert the pint into the Ninja Creami. Lock the lid and select the "Ice Cream" function. Let the machine work its magic.
- Add Mix-Ins: Once the ice cream is churned, create a well in the center of the ice cream using a spoon. Add the mini chocolate chips into the well and return the pint to the machine. Use the "Mix-In" function to incorporate the chocolate chips.
- Serve: Scoop the mint chocolate chip ice cream into bowls and enjoy immediately or store it in the freezer for later.
