Oreo Ice Cream
A cookies-and-cream Ninja CREAMi treat made by freezing a vanilla cream cheese base and mixing in chopped Oreos.
Ingredients
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | cream cheese (softened) |
| 1/3 cup | 80 ml | granulated sugar |
| 1 tsp | 5 ml | vanilla extract |
| 3/4 cup | 180 ml | heavy cream |
| 1 cup | 240 ml | whole milk |
| 4-6 | Oreos (roughly chopped) |
Instructions
- Prepare the base: In a bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Slowly add the heavy cream and whole milk until fully combined.
- Freeze: Pour the mixture into your Ninja pint container. Place it on a level surface in the freezer and freeze solid for exactly 24 hours.
- Spin: Remove the pint, place it in the outer bowl, and process it using the ICE CREAM setting.
- Mix in the Oreos: Make a 1.5-inch hole in the center of your spun ice cream. Drop your broken Oreo pieces into the hole, then select the MIX-IN setting.
- Re-spin if needed: If the texture is crumbly or you want a softer consistency, add a splash of milk and hit RESPIN.
