Ingredients

2 cup480 mlheavy whipping cream, chilled
14 oz395 gsweetened condensed milk, chilled
1 tsp5 mlvanilla extract
blue food coloring
red food coloring
yellow food coloring
1/4 tsp1.3 mlraspberry extract (for blue, optional)
1/4 tsp1.3 mlbanana extract (for yellow, optional)
1/4 tsp1.3 mlstrawberry extract (for red, optional)

Instructions

  1. Make the Base: In a large mixing bowl, beat the chilled heavy whipping cream using an electric mixer on high speed until stiff peaks form. This will create a light and fluffy base for your ice cream.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold this mixture into the whipped cream, being careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
  3. Color the Ice Cream: Divide the ice cream base into three separate bowls. Add a few drops of blue food coloring to one bowl, red to another, and yellow to the last. If using, add the corresponding flavor extracts to each bowl. Stir gently until the colors are well combined.
  4. Transfer to Container: Using a ninja creami pint container, drop a spoonful of each colored mixture randomly into the container. Alternate the colors to create a marbled effect. Tap the container on the counter to release any air bubbles ensuring it does not exceed the max fill line.
  5. Freeze: Cover the Ninja creami pint container and place it in the freezer for at least 24 hours to allow the ice cream to set completely.
  6. Check the Texture: After 24 hours, remove the ice cream from the freezer. If it appears a bit crumbly, use the re-spin function on your Ninja Creami Deluxe to achieve a creamier consistency.
  7. Add Your Mix-Ins: Once the ice cream is ready, create a tunnel in the center of the spun ice cream. Add about 1/4 cup of your chosen mix-ins (such as mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, or cookie chunks) into this tunnel.
  8. Use the Mix-In Setting: Select the Mix-In setting on the Ninja Creami. This will gently incorporate your mix-ins into the ice cream without over-processing them.
  9. Serve: Scoop the Superman Ice Cream into bowls and enjoy!
