Ingredients
| 1 bottle (750 ml) | Merlot |
| 1½ cups / 360 ml | blackberry juice (strained) |
| ¾ cup / 180 ml | simple syrup |
| ½ cup / 120 ml | cold filtered water |
| — | fresh blackberry, for garnish |
Instructions
- Whisk the Merlot, blackberry juice, simple syrup and water until well integrated.
- Refrigerate at least 2 hours until the mixture reaches 4°C (40°F).
- Pour the chilled liquid into the reservoir, staying below the Max Fill line.
- Turn the machine on and select the Slush preset.
- Run until the slush is a dark, regal purple and holds a firm peak.
- Dispense and drop a fresh blackberry on top of each drink.
Pro-tip: add a tiny drop of vanilla extract before freezing to highlight Merlot's plum and chocolate notes. ABV approx. 10%.
