Pink Martini

A blush-pink martini of gin, kirsch and blanc vermouth with aromatic bitters, smoked under cherry wood and garnished with lemon twists and cherries.

Ingredients

2 oz	57 g	gin, such as Hendrick's
2 oz	57 g	kirsch
1 oz	28 g	blanc vermouth, such as Dolin
2-3 dashes		Angostura aromatic bitters
—		lemon twists and maraschino cherries (Luxardo), for serving
—		cherry wood chips

Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the gin, kirsch, vermouth and bitters and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Strain into a cocktail ball (globe glass).
Insert the smoking gun hose (cherry wood chips recommended) and smoke the cocktail, then let the smoke immerse the drink for a minute or two.
Garnish with lemon twists and cherries.
