Pork Shoulder Thin Sliced with Garlic

Ingredients
| 1.5 lbs (680g) | pork shoulder, sliced thin (3 to 4mm) across the grain | |
| 3 tablespoons | 45 ml | soy sauce |
| 5 cloves | garlic, minced | |
| 1 tablespoon | 15 ml | sake |
| 1 tablespoon | 15 ml | mirin |
| 1 teaspoon | 5 ml | sesame oil |
| 1/2 teaspoon | 2.5 ml | black pepper |
| — | sliced green onion, to garnish |
Instructions
- Slice the pork shoulder thinly across the grain.
- Mix the soy sauce, garlic, sake, mirin, sesame oil and pepper. Coat the pork and marinate for 1 hour.
- Grill over high heat for 1.5 to 2 minutes per side.
- Garnish with green onion and serve with steamed rice.
