Purslane

Location: Purslane does not tolerate shade. It prefers well-draining light (sandy) or clay soils. Soil acidity is not important.

Propagation: The seeds are sown in spring in a greenhouse, but one must wait for all the spring cold spells to pass. When the young plants are large enough to be handled, they are planted into separate containers.

Watering: Purslane is drought-resistant and suitable for growing in places with a dry climate and in places where watering is done less frequently.
