Quick potato bread
A quick oven-baked potato bread made with instant mashed-potato flakes, milk and yeast.
Ingredients
| 60 мл | warm water |
| 7 г | dry yeast |
| 125 мл | warm water |
| 125 мл | warm fresh milk |
| 100 г | instant mashed-potato flakes |
| 320 г | flour |
| 2 ч. л. | salt |
| 1 ч. л. | sugar |
| 1 с. л. | oil |
Instructions
Ingredients: 60 ml warm water, 7 g dry yeast, 125 ml warm water, 125 ml warm fresh milk, 100 g instant mashed-potato flakes, 320 g flour, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tbsp oil.
Preparation: Dissolve the yeast in the water. Stir well and leave for 10 minutes in a warm place. Mix the flour with the instant mashed-potato flakes. To the dissolved yeast add the water and the fresh milk. Sift in the flour in stages and knead a dough, adding the oil and the salt at the end. Put the kneaded dough in an oiled bowl and cover it. Leave it to rest 1-1 1/2 hours. The dough should double in volume. Knead the risen dough once and shape a round loaf or a bread (it can be two breads). Place it on a floured tray or baking paper. Cover it and leave it to "rest" for 35-40 minutes. Heat the oven to 200 C. Bake the quick potato bread for 30 minutes. After that cover it with foil and bake for another 10 minutes. Leave the quick potato bread to cool completely on a metal rack before slicing.
