Instructions
I love refreshing smoothies. We often mistake thirst for hunger, so drinks like this one should be at the top of your list, especially on a warm day.
In this recipe, I used kombucha tea, which is rich in B vitamins and contains minerals such as iron, potassium, phosphorus and chromium. It is also known to help boost energy and speed up metabolism, so all in all it is good for weight loss. Kombucha tastes a little bit like apple cider, but it comes in different flavors. You can find this healthy tea in the refrigerated teas section in local health food stores, well-stocked supermarkets or online.
- Add the kombucha tea, cucumber, kiwi, yogurt, cilantro leaves, ice cubes and the optional ginger and spinach to your Vitamix.
- Blend on high speed until smooth, then serve chilled.

Note: If you can't find ginger flavored kombucha tea, you can use unflavored just as well. Note: Be careful not to add too much cilantro/coriander, or it becomes unpleasant.
