Steamed Cake with Condensed Milk and Strawberries
A tender steamed cake studded with strawberries and enriched with condensed milk and vanilla.
Ingredients
| 4 | eggs | |
| 130 g | sugar | |
| 200 g | flour | |
| 220 g | butter | |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | condensed milk |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | vanilla essence |
| 80 g | strawberries, halved or whole |
Instructions
- Beat the eggs and sugar into a thick, fluffy mixture.
- Sift the flour into the egg mixture and stir well.
- In another bowl, combine the butter, condensed milk and vanilla essence and mix well.
- Add the butter mixture little by little to the egg mixture and stir well.
- Then add the strawberry pieces.
- Grease a 20-cm mould and pour the batter into it. Steam for 35 minutes.
