Instructions
Total time: 15 to 30 minutes. Difficulty: Easy.
- Place the shrimp in the bowl of a food processor and pulse on and off until the shrimp forms a paste.
- Combine the shrimp paste with the remaining filling ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir well to combine.
- Place 1/2 tablespoon of the mixture into the center of each of the wonton wrappers. Bring up the sides, pleating the dough to form a pouch (don't worry if the center is slightly open).
- Pour 250 ml / 1 cup of water into the cooking bowl and line the steamer basket with lettuce leaves.
- Arrange the dumplings on the lettuce leaves and set the steamer basket in place. Close the cover, select STEAMING and set the timer for 15 minutes.
- While the dumplings are steaming, combine the dipping sauce ingredients. Serve the dumplings with the dipping sauce on the side.
