Swedish Meatballs
Recipe Type: Main. Notes: Yes, you can use homemade meatballs. Just shorten the cooking length to 2 hours on high or 4 hours on low to allow the components to meld into the wonderful sauce. (1) If mushrooms are not for you at all, you can use Cream of Celery or Cream of Chicken Soup instead. I've tested both. The final flavor is a little different, but I've still seen the batch disappear quickly. (2) Homemade meatballs are absolutely fine! Just shorten the time in the crockpot if they are warm when you start. So, 2 hours on high versus 4.
