| 1 cup | 240 ml | sugar |
| 1 pinch | kosher salt | |
| 0.5 pound | 225 g | black soybeans, rinsed |
| 4 cups | 960 ml | water |
| 1 tablespoon | 15 ml | soy sauce |

- Add all ingredients to the inner pot of your Instant Pot.
- Secure the lid. Choose the "Manual" mode and cook for 15 minutes at High pressure. Once cooking is complete, use a natural pressure release for 10 minutes; carefully remove the lid.
- Let the beans soak in the sauce for 24 hours. The black soybeans should be soft and glossy.
- Cover and refrigerate. Enjoy!
