Instructions
Preheat oven to 175 C degrees. Mix ingredients together with a whisk until combined. Add a couple drops of food coloring to make the batter pink. Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray or cover with parchment paper. With a cookie scoop, scoop out an even amount of batter onto your cookie sheet. Using a spoon spread the batter into a thin circle about 10cm wide. Set aside a 1/2 cup of batter for the hearts. To add the hearts: With the 1/2 cup of batter you set aside, add a couple more drops of food coloring to make the batter red. Put the batter inside a sandwich bag and cut a small hole in one of the corners of the bag making a small piping bag. Pipe small polka dots onto your batter circles. Drag a toothpick through the center of each dot making a heart. Bake at 175 degrees for 8 minutes. Take them out of the oven and quickly start folding them, they dry quickly. Fold the circles in half once, making sure the heart patterns show on the outside. Push the center of the fold onto the rim of a glass making a fortune cookie shape. Cut strips of paper and write personal messages onto them. Fold the paper and insert the message into the fortune cookie using tweezers.
