Beef Stew with Beer
Portioned beef braised with onion and a beer sauce, served over a bed of boiled rice and sprinkled with fresh parsley.

Ingredients
| 300 g | beef | |
| 30 g | butter | |
| 20 g | flour | |
| 100 g | onion | |
| 100 ml | beer | |
| 1 pc | bay leaf | |
| to taste | salt | |
| — | black pepper | |
| — | red pepper | |
| 1 cup | 240 ml | rice, boiled |
| — | parsley, fresh, for sprinkling |
Instructions
- Braise the meat, cut into portions, in the butter.
- Add the chopped onion and the flour and fry until golden.
- Finally sprinkle with the red pepper, stir, season with salt and add the bay leaf.
- Pour in the beer. When it has evaporated, top up with a little water.
- Simmer the beef stew with beer over low heat until the meat is done.
- Serve the stew over a bed of boiled rice and sprinkle with a little fresh parsley.
