Ingredients
| 1 cup | 240 ml | Glutinous rice flour |
| 3/4 cup | 180 ml | Water |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | Sugar |
| 1/4 tsp | 1.3 ml | Baking powder |
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | Red bean paste |
| 1/2 cup | 120 ml | Sesame seeds |
| — | Vegetable oil, for frying |
Instructions
- Add the glutinous rice flour, sugar, and baking powder into the mixing bowl and mix well. Gradually add water, stirring until the mixture forms dough. Divide the dough into small balls.
- Flatten each ball into a small disc and place a tsp of red bean paste or sesame paste in the center. Pinch the edges to seal the filling inside. Roll each ball in sesame seeds until fully coated.
- Add vegetable oil to the pan and heat it. Place the sesame balls into the pot and fry for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve!
