
Fried Rice with Shrimp (or Crab) and Pork - Bokum Bahb
Flavors of South Korea. A Korean-style stir-fried rice (bokkeumbap) with roast pork, shrimp or crab and vegetables.

Ingredients
| 4 tbsp | 60 ml | peanut oil |
| 2 | onions, coarsely chopped | |
| 225 g | roast pork, shredded or cut into strips | |
| 225 g | shrimp or crab | |
| 500 g | cooked long-grain rice | |
| 1/2 | red pepper, cut into strips | |
| 1 tbsp | 15 ml | light soy sauce |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | sesame oil |
| 3-4 | carrots, cut into thin sticks |
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a wok; add the onions and stir-fry until translucent.
- Add the pork and cook two minutes longer.
- Add the rice, stirring constantly with a wooden spatula.
- Add the shrimp at the last minute with the soy sauce and sesame oil; transfer to a hot serving platter; garnish with the carrot sticks or radish flowers.
