Their taste will be even nicer and more unique! You can serve them with a little jug of ayran or another treat. They are wonderful for breakfast, and for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

1 kgflour
1 tubyogurt
1 tea cupwater
2 pcseggs
1 tsp5 mlbaking soda
1 tsp5 mlsalt
300 gcheese

Instructions

  1. Knead a dough from the flour, the yogurt, the water, the baking soda, the salt and the eggs (without 1 yolk).
  2. Divide the dough into 10 equal parts.
  3. Roll out each part into a small round sheet.
  4. On one half of each circle put a filling of crumbled cheese and cover with the other half of the circle.
  5. Brush the resulting half-moons with yolk and bake them in a moderate oven.
  6. Some cooks prefer to bake or fry them with a little fat in a pan.
  7. If you do decide to bake them in the oven, after you take them out, brush them with a little butter. Their taste will then be even nicer and more unique!
