Lentil Stew with Potatoes

Put the lentils to boil in a pot with water, a little salt and fat. Once it boils, add the potatoes, rinsed and cut into small cubes.

In a separate pot sauté the chopped onion and carrots, and once softened add the garlic cloves cut into large pieces and the tomato paste.

Pour the sautéed vegetables together with the tomato sauce over the lentils and potatoes. Stir and add salt, black and red (paprika) pepper to taste and the savory (chubritsa). Let it finish cooking and remove from the heat.
