Marinated Pork Pieces with Whole-Grain Basmati Rice

Ingredients

800 г.pork meat
2 ч.ч.whole-grain Basmati rice (Krina Exotic Line)
teriyaki sauce
1 чашаwhite wine
flour
pepper melange
smoked red pepper (paprika)
ground cardamom
bay leaf
salt
oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the meat, pat it dry and cut it into pieces. Sprinkle with ground pepper melange, smoked red pepper (paprika) and cardamom. Roll them well so the spices are evenly distributed over the meat. Drizzle with two or three spoons of teriyaki sauce and a glass of white wine, and leave the meat to rest in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  2. Wash the rice well with cold water and briefly fry it in oil in a deep pan or pot. Salt it, add three parts water and cook until done. During cooking you may add 2-3 bay leaves, which you then remove once the rice is ready.
  3. Drain the pork pieces from the marinade, roll them lightly in flour and fry until golden in a little oil. Do not throw away the marinade, as it is used again later. The finished pieces can be drained of excess fat on kitchen paper.
  4. When all the pieces are fried, return them to the pan, add the liquid from the marinade and a little more wine. Leave them to simmer a bit longer on the stove.
  5. To serve, spoon out some of the cooked rice, distribute the pork pieces on top and drizzle with a little of the meat's sauce. Bon appetit!
