Pork Chop with Wine and Mushroom Sauce
A pork chop floured and pan-fried, then braised with mushrooms, onion and white wine, finished with cream and red pepper. Served with mashed potatoes. Serves 2.
Ingredients

| 1 tea cup | white wine | |
| 10 ml | cream | |
| 10 | mushrooms | |
| 1 head | onion | |
| 4 cloves | garlic | |
| — | salt | |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | oil |
| 2 tbsp | 30 ml | red pepper (paprika) |
Instructions
- Roll the meat in flour. Fry it on both sides in heated oil until it turns pale.
- Add the chopped mushrooms (10) and onion (1 head) and cover the pot. Once the vegetables have softened a little, pour in the wine (1 tea cup) and continue braising until the meat is tender.
- Add the cream (10 ml) and the red pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes.
- Serve with mashed potatoes.
