⏱️ Prep: 15 min🍳 Cook: 60 min
Ingredients
| 4 pcs | pork chops | |
| 2 heads | onions | |
| 2 tsp | 10 ml | brown sugar |
| 3 tbsp | 45 ml | whiskey |
| 3 tsp | 15 ml | flour |
| 50 g | butter | |
| 200 ml | meat broth | |
| — | black pepper, preferably whole peppercorns | |
| — | salt |
Instructions
Wash the chops, pat them dry and fry them in a little vegetable oil, or if desired they can also be grilled. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper and keep warm. Fry the finely chopped onion in the butter until it becomes translucent. Add the flour and lightly fry it as well over low heat. Gradually thin the mixture with the hot broth, add the sugar. Bring the sauce to a boil and let it simmer for 2 minutes over low heat, stirring. If it is too thick, thin it with a little more broth or water. Finally, stir the whiskey into the sauce, season with salt and black pepper to taste and remove from the heat. Arrange the chops on warmed plates, pour the sauce over them and serve with a garnish of your choice.
