Sous Vide SODA EXPERIMENT - Pork Tenderloin Marination - April's Fools Prank!
(reconstructed / classic proportions — the source clipping contained only the title and video tagline; this was a novelty soda-marination experiment)
- Marinate pork tenderloins each in a different soda — Fanta, Sprite and Cola — for a few hours to overnight in the refrigerator.
- Drain, season with salt and pepper, and vacuum-seal each tenderloin (a splash of the soda can be added to the bag).
- Cook sous vide at 60°C (140°F) for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Remove from the bags and pat dry.
- Sear in a hot pan or on a grill for about 30 seconds per side until browned.
- Rest, slice and compare the three soda marinades.
