Potatoes with Butter and Curry
⏱️ Prep: 10 min🍳 Cook: 20 min
Ingredients
| — | potatoes |
| — | salt |
| — | curry |
| — | butter |
| — | mayonnaise (for the sauce) |
| — | honey (for the sauce) |
| — | mustard (for the sauce) |
Instructions
- Choose larger potatoes, peel them and cut them.
- Boil the potatoes lightly in salted water. They should not be fully cooked. If you pierce them with a knife, you should feel that the inside is firm. It is important that they are boiled in salted water, because they are seasoned evenly.
- Drain off the water.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter and curry — as much as everyone likes.
- Add the potatoes and toss them. When they are not overcooked they toss much more easily and stay whole.
- In a baking tray place baking paper so that it sticks out above the edges, so the butter does not run out.
- Pour in the potatoes and bake in the oven until soft.
- I serve them on a large plate together with the baking paper, because there is very tasty melted butter on it.
Sauce: A very suitable sauce for these potatoes is a sauce of mayonnaise, mustard and honey. The quantity of each product is to taste. If it is too thick for you, thin it with a little yogurt.
