Starbucks Caramel Brulee Latte Copycat
A homemade copycat of the Starbucks caramel brûlée latte made on the stovetop.
Ingredients
| 1 shot (around 1.6 floz / 50ml) | strong espresso or strongly-brewed coffee | |
| 1 cup | 240 ml | skimmed milk (can use non-dairy) |
| 2 tablespoons | 30 ml | caramel sauce |
| 1 tablespoon | 15 ml | vanilla syrup (can substitute 1 teaspoon vanilla extract) |
| — | whipped cream | |
| — | extra caramel sauce for drizzling |
Instructions
- Pour the espresso/coffee into a saucepan with the milk. Place over a high heat and stir with a whisk until frothy and the milk just begins to boil.
- Take the pan off the heat and stir in the caramel sauce and vanilla syrup/extract.
- Pour the milky coffee into a mug and top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
