Steak & Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Ingredients

1 lb455 gsirloin steak (or ribeye), cut into cubes
1 tbsp15 mlolive oil
2 tbsp30 mlbutter
1 tsp5 mlblack pepper
1/2 tsp2.5 mlsalt
1/2 tsp2.5 mlpaprika
1/2 tsp2.5 mlgarlic powder
1 tbsp15 mlchopped parsley (for garnish)
12large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp15 mlolive oil (for shrimp)
1 tbsp15 mlbutter (for shrimp)
1/2 tsp2.5 mlsalt (for shrimp)
1/2 tsp2.5 mlblack pepper (for shrimp)
1/2 tsp2.5 mlpaprika (for shrimp)
1/2 tsp2.5 mlred pepper flakes (optional)
2 tbsp30 mlbutter (for Alfredo sauce)
3 clovesgarlic, minced
1 cup240 mlheavy cream
1/2 cup120 mlParmesan cheese, grated
1/2 tsp2.5 mlblack pepper (for sauce)
1/2 tsp2.5 mlsalt (for sauce)
8 oz225 gspaghetti or fettuccine
1 tbsp15 mlbutter (for pasta)
1 tbsp15 mlchopped parsley (for pasta)

Instructions

1. Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.
  2. Drain and toss with 1 tbsp butter to prevent sticking.

2. Cook the Steak

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add steak cubes, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder, and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  3. Add butter and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside.

3. Cook the Shrimp

  1. In the same pan, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add shrimp, season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes, and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink.
  3. Add butter and cook for another 30 seconds.
  4. Remove from heat and set aside.

4. Make the Alfredo Sauce

  1. In the same pan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  2. Pour in heavy cream, then add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy.

5. Assemble & Serve

  1. Toss the pasta in the Alfredo sauce.
  2. Top with steak and shrimp.
  3. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan.
