Ingredients

1 cup240 mlquinoa, cooked
16dinner rolls
0.5 pound225 gground pork
1 pound455 glean beef, ground
2garlic cloves, chopped
0.5 tsp2.5 mlchili powder
1 cup240 mlbreadcrumbs
2 tbsp30 mlolive oil
2.5 cups600 mltomato sauce
1egg, beaten
0.25 cup60 mlmilk
0.5 tsp2.5 mldried rosemary, chopped
0.25 cup60 mlbrown sugar
2 tbsp30 mlvinegar
1 dashallspice
4 tbsp60 mlscallions, chopped
salt and black pepper, to taste
0.5 tsp2.5 mlcrushed red pepper flakes
1 tbsp15 mlfresh cilantro, chopped

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, pork, quinoa, garlic, scallions, cilantro, breadcrumbs, egg, and milk; now, season with salt, black pepper, red pepper, and rosemary. Shape the meat mixture into 16 meatballs.
  2. Press the "Sauté" button to preheat your Instant Pot. Now, heat the oil until sizzling. Once hot, brown your meatballs on all sides.
  3. Add the tomato sauce, sugar, vinegar, allspice and chili powder.
  4. Select the "Manual" mode and cook for 12 minutes. Once cooking is complete, use a quick release.
  5. Place one meatball on top of the bottom half of a dinner roll. Spoon the sauce on top of your meatball. Top with the other half of the dinner roll.
  6. Repeat until you run out of ingredients. Bon appétit!
